Job Description:
As a Service Owner for Microsegmentation, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing microsegmentation strategies within a Zero Trust network. Your role will focus on enhancing network security, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and promoting IT solutions aligned with business objectives. You will collaborate with various teams and provide mentorship to your colleagues, driving professional development and contributing to Siemens’ success in IT security.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement microsegmentation strategies to enhance network security within a Zero Trust framework.
Define and enforce security policies, monitor network traffic, and mitigate potential threats.
Ensure security measures align with the company’s broader security objectives.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and stay updated on trends in microsegmentation and Zero Trust security.
Mentor and support team members’ professional development.
Act as an advocate for business interests within the IT organization, promoting IT solutions.
Contribute to the development and promotion of IT services and collaborate with IT Partner Managers, IT Business Consultants, and IT Project Managers.

Requirements:

Master’s degree in Information Technology or related field with significant experience in IT.
Over 5 years of experience in network administration and management, with expertise in LAN infrastructure, network protocols, routing, and switching.
Certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) are ideal.
Experience in handling international teams and applying ITIL processes.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Proficiency in English is required; German is a plus.
