Staphyt is in need of a driven Regulatory Toxicology Expert to become a member of their international Toxicology Team. The optimal applicant will possess proficiency in toxicological risk assessments of plant protection products (PPP) and a comprehensive awareness of EU procedures. The position entails composing toxicological parts of registration dossiers, designing and overseeing research, and coordinating closely with the Plant Protection Team to ensure thorough and uniform documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compose Mammalian Toxicology portions of registration dossiers for Plant Protection Products (PPPs), encompassing the preparation of study summaries and the execution of risk assessments.
- Advocate for the exemption of specific studies where appropriate.
- Design and oversee mammalian toxicological studies, managing finances and client relations.
- Establish human health categories for chemicals and goods in compliance with CLP Regulation.
- Engage with multidisciplinary project teams to produce comprehensive documentation for clients.
Requirements:
- Appropriate scientific degree (e.g., Toxicology, Zoology, Pharmacology, Biology).
- A minimum of three years of hands-on experience in Regulatory Toxicology within the European Union.
- Comprehensive understanding of EU regulatory protocols for Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs).
- Capacity to analyze research findings and draw scientific and regulatory inferences.
- Robust decision-making capabilities and proficiency in an international setting.
- Exceptional communication abilities with advanced proficiency in both written and spoken English.
- Meticulousness and capacity for autonomous work.
Desirable:
- Experience in study monitoring (e.g., acute toxicity data packages).
- Proficiency in PPP Residues data packages (e.g., research oversight, dossier composition).
